Starting pay for an LPN is $26/hr and starting pay for an RN is $28/hr.

Licensed Practical Nurse
Dardanelle Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is a leading provider of community-based services for individuals, families and communities. Our goal is to provide solutions to promote physical and mental health in our patients’ communities by providing comprehensive, quality services. We are currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse and a Registered Nurse to join our team.
Essential Functions:
·Assists with patient care activities including but not limited to physical, emotional support, discharge planning, medication administration and documentation, etc.
·Administers medications under direction of physician; takes and records vital signs.
·Assists with patient care activities including but not limited to day-to-day supervision of patients and their care providers.
·Prepares and administers medications under direction of physician; takes and records vital signs.
·Performs other duties as assigned by physician or nurse manager.
·Communicates with physicians’ staffs staffs regarding patients’ care as needed.
·Reports any unusual changes in patient condition to physician or discharge coordinator; coordinates treatment plan changes with physician or discharge coordinator as needed.
·Provides crisis intervention if necessary (obtains appropriate emergency medical care if there is an emergency).
·Reports changes in patient condition to physician or supervisor; assists in implementing changes in patient care plan as directed by physician or supervisor.

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information
- Assist with patient assessments and develop care plans
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures and self-care techniques
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Experience:
- Knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Proficient in performing basic nursing skills such as wound care, medication administration, and vital sign monitoring
- Experience in providing primary care services, including health coaching and disease prevention education
- Knowledge of dementia care principles and techniques

Requirements:
