The Digital Marketing Manager plays a critical role in Darden’s Digital Marketing organization, working closely with our Brand partners to synthesize Brand business objectives into robust and effective digital plans and strategies. This role lives in a unique space between Brand marketing and Digital Marketing and serves as the lead for Digital Marketing for a select number of Darden Brands, acting as a digital thought leader while working across varying teams and stakeholders.
Through integrating with cross-functional Brand partners, the Digital Marketing Manager equips the digital team with key information including sales/traffic trends, strategic marketing initiatives, as well as familiarity with core guests and unique Brand competitive advantages that are all leveraged in crafting the optimal digital strategy and plan, ensuring Digital Marketing’s actions align with the Brand’s strategic marketing initiatives. Through close Brand / Digital Marketing collaboration and partnership, the Digital Brand Manager ensures Brand partners utilize Digital Marketing strategically to maximize the effectiveness of our digital investments.

Roles And Responsibilities
- Lead all Digital Marketing initiatives for select number of Brands, including but not limited to development of agency briefs that capture Brand objectives and digital goals and strategies, forecasting campaign activations to ensure measurable recommendations in partnership with digital analytics teams.
- Serve as day-to-day contact for Darden and Brand teams on all things related to Digital Marketing efforts.
- Lead annual or ad hoc planning processes and weekly digital meetings to determine campaign success as well as make informed, quick decisions in partnership with Brand teams to improve and/or re-align digital investment’s contribution to the business.
- Lead quarterly business review process and deliverable to Brand outlining digital’s contribution to Brand success to Brand leadership on a quarterly basis.
- Manage and track Digital Marketing budget elements to support Brand marketing teams in monthly budget reconciliation cycles
- Partner with CRM and digital channel owners to drive comprehensive digital recommendations.
- 5-7 years in Digital Marketing and advertising planning, executing campaigns, or acting as a client manager specifically in the digital space
- Strong account management and project management skills, process orientation, and ability to build strong relationships and influence across multiple teams / stakeholders to drive results while navigating complexity
- Direct digital media buying and/or ad tech platform experience preferred: Expertise with Google Ads, Meta Ads, DSPs, and/or other Digital Marketing platforms
- Analytical mindset demonstrated through comfort with data, and ability to clearly articulate relevant business impact
- Brand marketing and business acumen demonstrated by understanding of broader business/marketing strategy, translating business goals into Digital Marketing strategies and plans
- Excellent communication skills, especially translating technical material to a range of audiences with varying technical backgrounds at various levels of leadership
- Deep understanding of current digital media/marketing landscape, Digital Marketing tools and data strategies
- Client service mindset either from a centralized Digital Marketing role serving multiple Brands or an agency background
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, Digital Marketing, or a related field required; MBA strongly preferred.
- Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize various job activities/tasks, including the ability to problem-solve and multi-task consistently
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
- Organization and time management skills with the ability to organize, plan, and follow-up with tasks

- Previous experience at a Digital Marketing agency or working in a restaurant, hospitality, or CPG focused company.
