What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Manager position at Darigold Brand?
Darigold is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to be a part of Darigold’s Issaquah team. The Maintenance Manager must possess the desire and ability to manage the maintenance and repair for all areas of the processing plant. The Maintenance Manager’s role is to supervise and coordinate all plant maintenance personnel to attain effective and efficient plant operations.
What You Will Do
- Maintain preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Oversee full wastewater treatment and refrigeration systems
- Administer department budget within established guidelines
- Manager a safe working environment for all maintenance personnel
- Maintain plant quality performance standards
- Work with Corporate Engineering to oversee Capital Expenditure items
- Provide emergency response
- Provide necessary training to new and existing mechanics
What You Will Bring
- Dairy, beverage, packaging or process industry background preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with mechanics, carpentry, electrical, building maintenance, waste water treatment and refrigeration systems
- Ability and desire to work in a team environment
- Must have schedule flexibility to work during emergency situations, weekends and off shifts as necessary
- Prior experience managing in a 24/7 environment is a plus
Nice To Have's
- Engineering Degree or related field. Industry experience would be considered in the absence of a degree
- 3 – 5 years of experience in the maintenance/engineering field
- Experience in a capital project – handling vendors and contractors
- Experience in Microsoft Office and CAD
