Job Description: We are seeking a skilled forklift operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior forklift operating expertise in a warehouse or industrial context, as well as a strong dedication to safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a forklift to load, unload, and transport materials and products
• Safely handle and stack materials in designated areas
• Pick and pack orders using the forklift as needed
• Perform regular inspections of the forklift and report any maintenance issues
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the warehouse
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to fulfill orders and meet deadlines
• Follow instructions for proper handling and storage of materials
• Report any inventory discrepancies or damaged goods to the appropriate personnel
• Perform other duties such as labeling, scanning, and inventory control as needed
  
  

Requirements:

• Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or industrial environment
• Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols for forklift operation
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely and efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials
• Good communication skills to work effectively with team members and supervisors
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed
