Job Title : Forklift Operator | 1st Shift Pay Period : After the first week, you will be paid weekly Location : Garden City, GA Salary : $18 / hr Hours : Monday to Friday, 7 : 00AM-until   Job Description : We are seeking a skilled forklift operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior forklift operating expertise in a warehouse or industrial context, as well as a strong dedication to safety and efficiency.    Responsibilities : -Operate a forklift to load, unload, and transport materials and products -Safely handle and stack materials in designated areas -Pick and pack orders using the forklift as needed -Perform regular inspections of the forklift and report any maintenance issues -Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries -Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the warehouse -Collaborate with team members and supervisors to fulfill orders and meet deadlines -Follow instructions for proper handling and storage of materials -Report any inventory discrepancies or damaged goods to the appropriate personnel -Perform other duties such as labeling, scanning, and inventory control as needed   Requirements : -Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or industrial environment -Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols for forklift operation -Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely and efficiently -Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials -Good communication skills to work effectively with team members and supervisors -Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed   Benefits : -Positive and team-oriented work environment -Training and support to enhance skills and knowledge -Room for growth and advancement within the company -Monday to Friday   If you are a dependable and experienced Forklift Operator seeking a steady position, we welcome you to apply!
