General Job Description:
The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the timely and efficient flow of raw materials into quality finished products; ensures that equipment and buildings are maintained and in good repair with a direct report to the Assistant Plant Manager. *THIS POSITION WILL BE REQUIRED TO WORK 2nd SHIFT*
Responsibilities include:

- Responsible for being familiar with and observing all Company safety rules and regulations, recognizes safety as top Company priority and conducts regularly scheduled safety meetings.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts in all areas of responsibility.
- Responsible for achieving individual and department targets, goals and objectives.
- Assist in conducting investigation of accidents that occur within jurisdiction and makes recommendations to Plant Safety Committee.
- Responsible for supervising job performance of maintenance and production personnel as well as all the maintenance duties of equipment and buildings that are used to process raw material.
- Maintains efficient and timely flow of all raw materials received.
- Monitors performance of individuals to ensure that procedures are being held to highest standard
- Responsible for the quality of all finished products and determines any reason for loss of quality.
- All other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 3-5 years of prior management experience in a production environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Detail oriented; highly organized.
- Ability to work well with internal staff.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Self-starter; self-motivated.
- Good understanding of production maintenance and repair protocols.
- Good math and computer skills.
Physical Demands
- Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Regularly required to walk, stand, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, and crouch.
- Regularly required to reach with hands and arms.
