Job Summary
The Shipping and Receiving Clerk coordinates inbound and outbound shipments while keeping accurate information flowing between the plant and other facilities.
Schedule: 7am-5pm M-F with Rotating Saturday work.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities

- Responsible for scaling trucks in and out.
- Responsible for answering phone and taking messages as necessary.
- Responsible for assigning finished product to outbound shipments.
- Responsible for assigning lot numbers to inbound shipments.
- Responsible for keeping various logistics spreadsheets updated.
- Responsible for visitor sign-in sheet; monitors all traffic through office.
- All other duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- One year of experience in shipping & receiving in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior office experience; fax, copier, and printer.
- Must be able to type; proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Communicates clearly in verbal and written form.
- Highly organized; superior time management skills.
- Excellent math skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
Physical Demands
- Frequently required to walk, stand, sit, climb, balance, stoop, bend, and kneel.
- Frequently lifts up to 10 lbs.
- Long periods spent sitting at desk in front of computer screen.
- Regularly required reach with hands and arms.
Work Environment
Job functions will be carried out in an office environment.
