Darlington School seeks an Associate Director of Admission to join a talented, enthusiastic admission team and an engaged, equity-minded faculty committed to the growth and development of young people. The Associate Director of Admission will seek to find future students who are empowered to learn with passion, act with integrity and serve with respect.
The Associate Director of Admission will report to the Assistant Head of School for Enrollment Management. Travel is expected as a part of admissions work as well as periodic nights and weekends. This is a full-time, twelve-month position. On-campus housing is an option for those interested in contributing to the boarding community through coaching and/or other school responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the Assistant Head of School for Enrollment Management to design and implement recruitment strategies to meet established enrollment goals.
- Establish strong relationships with prospective families and students, as well as with faculty and staff of Darlington School.
- Develop new and maintain established relationships with school counselors and educational consultants.
- Manage the application process for prospective Upper School candidates, interviewing families, touring families, and supporting their application process.
- Represents Darlington School and the Admission team at events.
- Coordinate and/or assist in the implementation of programming efforts both on-and off-campus.
- Support and/or manage projects related to other office-wide efforts as assigned: e.g, marketing, territory management, data analysis, campus visitors, community volunteers, etc. Supports other team members in event planning, onboarding, retention, and other team duties.
