Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting sales operations, customer interactions, and internal coordination to ensure smooth processing of orders and timely delivery. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Entry: Inputting and processing quotations and sales orders with accuracy.
- Quote Pricing: Obtain and verify pricing based on price lists, current costs, and coordination with the Account Manager or Sales Manager.
- Customer Interactions: Provide customers with accurate pricing, lead times, and account information. Create and send quotations and order acknowledgements. Expedite orders as needed.
- Customer Reporting: Prepare and share various customer-facing reports, including open order status updates.
- Weekly Meetings: Attend meetings to track and ensure timely shipment of customer orders.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with outside salespersons to ensure seamless service and coordination.
- Microsoft Office Skills: Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook to manage tasks and communications efficiently.
- Quote Follow-Ups: Follow up with customers on quotations to secure purchase orders or address any concerns.
- Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs): Send RMA forms to customers, issue RMA numbers, and create corresponding tracking.
- Routing Folders: Generate and distribute routing folders to engineering and production teams.
- Document Management: Scan, save, and attach completed production documents.
Reports To: National Sales Manager
Qualifications:
- Educational Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience Requirements:
- Previous customer service or inside sales experience is preferred.
- Data entry experience is required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
