The ideal candidate will bring a blend of creativity, leadership, and expertise to oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring an outstanding guest experience. Working in close collaboration with the General Manager, the Executive Chef will be at the helm of a passionate team, focused on culinary excellence and innovation.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning and high-quality food production.
  • Design and execute innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients, local flavors, and culinary trends.
  • Oversee inventory management, including ordering, tracking, and ensuring proper storage of food and supplies.
  • Uphold strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
  • Mentor and train kitchen staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning, teamwork, and high standards.
  • Collaborate with management to develop new seasonal offerings and special events that exceed guest expectations.
  • Monitor food cost control, identify efficiencies, and implement strategies to optimize resources and minimize waste.
  • Handle guest feedback, ensuring that all special requests and dietary preferences are met with precision and care.
  • Foster a positive work environment and ensure staff productivity, performance, and morale are consistently high.

Qualifications :

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in high-end NYC dining establishments or luxury hospitality settings.
  • Proven expertise in managing all facets of kitchen operations, including food production, budgeting, and staff development.
  • Strong understanding of culinary trends, food science, and innovative cooking techniques.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
  • Skilled in menu planning, recipe development, cost control, and inventory management.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • A passion for mentoring, teaching, and elevating team members to new heights.

  • Experience in upscale restaurant environments, fine dining, or high-profile hospitality settings.
