We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Houseman to help maintain and enhance our shared spaces in Stamford, CT. What you'll do:
As a Houseman, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our facility remains in top condition for our clients and staff. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Morning Responsibilities:
• Turn on AV system, ensuring TVs and music are functioning properly in shared spaces.
• Open shades and umbrellas (if the weather is nice), and bring in small cushions if rain is in the forecast.
• Turn on fireplaces, setting timers to ensure they’re operating (except during summer months).
• Ensure conference rooms are clean, organized, and properly stocked with necessary items (e.g., Kleenex, Purell, pens, notepads, coasters).
• Walk the office, keeping a list of any broken furniture or lighting issues.
• Check and distribute mail from the lobby, freight elevator, and mailroom, delivering it to suites before lunch.
• Submit work orders in Prism for any maintenance needs, such as broken furniture or temperature issues, and follow up on open items.
• Afternoon Responsibilities:
• Continue to monitor and distribute mail in the lobby and mailroom.
• Walk through the office to check for any new issues with furniture or lighting.
• Order and replenish supplies as needed for mailrooms, conference rooms, and bathrooms.
• Every Friday, forward Luno mail, create a work item list for upcoming meetings/events, and update the facilities calendar.
• At the end of the day, turn off the AV system and fireplaces, sweep the conference rooms, and close umbrellas, ensuring everything is in order for the next day.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Flexibility in performing a variety of duties, from AV system management to supply orders.
• Physical stamina to walk through the facility and lift small items as needed.
