The Curriculum Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing a well-rounded classroom curriculum. This includes selecting activities that lead to achieving program goals, developing a comprehensive curriculum promoting the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive growth of young children, and adapting programming to meet the needs of individual children and families.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will also assist with daily operations, including setting up the classroom, maintaining records, and communicating with parents. This role requires excellent organizational and time management skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Requirements
Candidates must have an Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of 9 credits in Early Childhood Education is required. An Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred.
