- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field (or
- 3 years of customer service, payroll/HR processing, or related experience.
- Basic understanding of payroll processes and systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with Kronos, HRMS , and PASF OnBase is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of payroll software and systems.

Payroll Processing
- Processes biweekly payroll for ASFC and A&S staff in Kronos.
- Assists with data entry and updates in multiple systems.
- Prepares and processes labor distribution changes and transfers.
- Assists with the approval of staff time cards and resolves basic payroll issues.
- Ensures timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions.

- Maintains accurate and up-to-date payroll records.
- Assists in updating templates for staff hiring.
- Supports the maintenance of staff listings for A&S communications.
- Ensures proper documentation and filing of payroll records.

Customer Support
- Responds to payroll-related inquiries from staff and faculty.
- Provides assistance with I-9 forms for new hires (staff, faculty, and students).
- Communicates with employees regarding non-compliant status to ensure continued
- Provides backup support for payroll and HR systems as needed.

- Assists in generating standard payroll reports and summaries.
- Ensures payroll processes comply with Dartmouth policy and federal/state regulations.
