Overview
This position will be on site in Lebanon, NH with some flexibility for remote days.
Processes the payroll within time constraints. Maintains up-to-date employee records within the payroll system and the integrity of information received. Answers questions and assists employees.
Responsibilities
Runs bi-weekly payrolls:
Runs the payroll processes and reports from the payroll checklist through PeopleSoft for and eTime through paycheck distribution, including labor distribution and general ledger interface.
Transmits automated clearing house (ACH) file and notify bank of amounts.
Prepares and sends savings plan files.
Prepares paperwork for A/P for check requests.
Prepares and sends both State and Federal taxes.
Distributes reports.
Files all documentation and reports.
Processes eTime for employees and reviews for completeness and accuracy.
Adjusts deductions.
Maintains payroll supplies and re-orders.
Provides communication to timekeepers during the payroll cycle.
Provides information for unemployment, verification of employments and garnishments.
Provides standard reports for Human Resources and Administrators.
Provides special pay runs or manual checks for terminations or as needed.
Writes and maintains documentation of payroll procedures.
Identifies problems and follows through with resolution.
Researches questions for customers.
Qualifications
Associate’s degree with 2 years of relevant payroll experience or the equivalent required.
Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to function as a team member required.
The ability to work under time pressures and meet deadlines are essential.
Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel) required.
