Position Purpose :
The Social Media Manager leads the development, execution, and evaluation of social media content and initiatives to enhance the stories and brand of the Geisel School of Medicine and foster meaningful engagement with diverse audiences. As part of integrated marketing teams, the Social Media Manager reports jointly to the Director of Digital Marketing and the Director for Enrollment Management.

Required Qualifications - Education and Yrs Exp : Bachelors or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities :
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience managing and evolving a brand's social media presence across a variety of platforms.
- Demonstrated experience with creating and posting social media content that drives engagement and action.
- Strong ability to analyze performance data and derive actionable recommendations and strategies for improvement.
- Familiarity with Canva and Adobe Creative Suite tools (e.g., Photoshop)
- Familiarity with social media management platforms and tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Experience working with diverse teams and fostering an inclusive work environment.
- Creativity, initiative, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
