Fund Analyst – Fund Placement

The Role
They are seeking a driven and intellectually curious Fund Analyst to join their dynamic team. This role offers a front-row seat to the private markets ecosystem and the chance to contribute meaningfully to live fundraising transactions, investor due diligence, and strategic advisory work. You’ll gain direct exposure to top-tier fund managers, leading institutional investors, and the mechanics of capital formation in the private equity industry.
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed research on private equity, venture capital, private credit, and other alternative investment funds
- Analyze institutional investors and their allocations, mandates, and strategies
- Assist in screening and onboarding fund manager clients
- Build and maintain GP/LP databases and CRM systems
- Support preparation of fund marketing materials, investor presentations, and PPMs
- Perform thematic sector research and produce thought leadership content
- Collaborate across teams to support investor outreach and pipeline tracking
- Assist in updating the firm’s website and marketing content
Who You Are
- A high-performing, intellectually curious individual with 0–3 years of relevant experience (finance, consulting, investment research, or similar)
- Demonstrated passion for private equity and capital markets
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English; fluency in other languages (e.g., German, French, Mandarin, Japanese) is a strong plus
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities independently
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and general financial modeling
- A team player with a proactive mindset and a high standard for excellence
