In this role, you will fabricate/assemble electrical components in the building of environmental chambers that do everything from protecting endangered wildlife to ensuring safe drinking water for at-risk communities. Electrical Assembly Technician
Major Areas of Responsibility
- Fabricates/assembles reach in chamber control plates.
- Maintaining stock levels of prebuilds used in production of reach in cabinets.
- Completes job and time documentation and submits all documentation on a timely basis.
- Performs QC and adjustment work promptly as directed.
- Maintains stock levels and inventory in workstation.
- Identifies and resolves fabrication issues with Electrical Manager.
- Tests all work prior to sending the completed unit to QC.
- Assists in development of best practices and tools for control panel fabrication.
- Continually provide feedback to the Electrical Manager regarding potential control panel fabrication improvements.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent (tech or trade school a plus!).
- Experience in electrical assembly or manufacturing.
Technical Skills
- Experience with basic hand tools and equipment.
- Ability to read and understand prints and drawings.
- Soldering and fabrication experience.
- Ability to use computer
Soft Skills
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Willingness to learn.
- Ability to effectively communicate with other employees.
Physical Requirements
- Able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Production environment (some noise, different temperatures).
- Visual ability to distinguish colors.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
