This role requires a mix of creativity, strategy, and the development of industry knowledge to engage our audience, boost brand awareness, and drive customer loyalty. About the Role
As the Content Specialist, you will be responsible for crafting engaging content across various platforms, including blogs, PR, email campaigns, and social media channels. The ideal candidate is a passionate storyteller who can effectively communicate our brand’s voice and message to our target audience.
Key Responsibilities :
- Content Creation : Develop high-quality, engaging, and informative content for various platforms, including our website, blog, and email campaigns. Select assets and utilize simple editing tools like Canva and Capcut to adapt content for social media channels.
- E diting and Proofreading : Review and edit content for grammar, clarity, and consistency with the brand’s voice and tone guidelines.
- Collaboration and Innovation : Collaborate with our social media team to create on-trend, dynamic content for our social media platforms. Work with the team to stay current and forward-thinking on social media
- Support Marketing Initiatives : Support ongoing campaigns and programs with content as needed and collaborate with the marketing team to reach key performance metrics. Qualifications :
- Education :
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or equivalent field
- or 2-4 years' work experience in a content or communications role
- Skills and Experience
- Strong copyediting and copywriting skills required
- Canva, Capcut, or other light photo / video editing
- Organization and experience working on deadline / with a content calendar
- Proven experience with social media marketing
- Passion for pets
