Darwin’s Natural Pet Products makes high quality, premium raw dog and cat food and delivers it directly to pet owners around the U.S. Our growing business started 17 years ago and is a combination of both manufacturing and direct-to-consumer retailing with a strong online subscription focus. This position is at our Tukwila plant and is conveniently located near Metro bus stops.

Duties of Production Team Members :
Manage multiple machine inputs and outputs for efficient production.Assemble, disassemble, operate, wash and sanitize of all production equipment.Perform operator level adjustments and operator preventative maintenance on equipment located in the immediate work area.Accurately document all necessary production data.Complete all rework responsibilities.Follow food safety regulations and procedures required by SOP’s, SSOP’s, cGMP’s and FDA regulations to meet customer and product specifications.Stage raw, dry, and wet ingredients according to batch sheets.Our Ideal Candidate Will :

Completion of a high school diploma or GED equivalent.HACCP Certification, Forklift Certification, FSMA Certification, and / or Food Handler’s Card.Practical knowledge of food safety, FDA regulations, and HACCP.Experience in a manufacturing and / or processing and packaging environment.Physical Demands and Work Environment :
Standing for long periods of time.Lifting up to 60lbs consistently throughout shift.Continuous exposure to humid and cold temperatures of below 40 degrees F.Must be able to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, twist, and reach during shifts.Work Hours :
First Shift : Sunday – Thursday, 5 : 00 am - 1 : 30 pmSecond Shift : Sunday-Thursday, 1 : 00 pm. – 10 : 00 pmPay :
20.00 per hr.
