Food Preparation Worker

Dash Market is looking for a talented Food Preparation Associate to join our team! Serving Keizer and Salem, we are looking for the best of the best people to join us in providing exceptional customer service to our community.

The ideal candidate will be a positive and energetic person who can bring to life a unique food preparation section of the market, including the hot food displays and kitchen areas.

Food Preparation

• Prepare and Measure ingredients required in various offerings in accordance with written procedures and as required by menu or customer specifications to ensure quality and consistency in food preparation.
• Operate mixers and food frying equipment
• Other basic kitchen tasks.

Maintaining cleanliness is crucial

• Clean and sanitize kitchen workspace, tools and equipment to ensure food safety standards.
• Maintain kitchen and presentation areas for cleanliness and positive appearance
• Assist with keeping all areas of the market clean

Maintaining Inventory and Cost Controls

• Monitor stock levels and recommend supply orders as needed
• Clean, Stock and Organize Market shelves and displays

Perform Market Cashier duties

• retail math skills are essential

The physical stuff you must be able to do:

• Sit and stand for long periods of time
• Lift up to 50 lbs. with reasonable assistance
• Bend, rotate and stack as associated with a retail environment
• Operate a computer sales terminal

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
