Terrace Landscaping in Hiawatha is looking to hire a lawn crew member!
The Lawn Care Crew Member will be responsible for maintaining lawns and green spaces by mowing, trimming, and performing other tasks to ensure properties are neat, healthy, and well-maintained.
RESPONSIBILIITIES / DUTIES:
- Mow, edge, and trim lawns to maintain a clean and professional appearance.
- Fertilize lawns and apply weed control treatments as needed.
- Perform routine lawn maintenance tasks such as aerating, dethatching, and overseeding.
- Ensure lawn equipment is cleaned and maintained for optimal performance.
- Identify and address common lawn issues such as pests, dry patches, or overgrowth.
- Maintain property boundaries by trimming along sidewalks, driveways, and curbs.
- Perform routine cleanup and debris removal to keep properties neat and tidy.
REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of industry rules and regulations
- Communication and problem solving skills
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Active Driver’s License
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
- Prior Lawn Care experience preferred
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Use of hands to handle, control object, tools, or controls.
- Standing and walking for prolonged periods of time.
- Requiring frequently bending, kneeling, lifting, and shoveling.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times.
