Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lawn Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the appearance of residential and commercial landscapes. This role requires a combination of physical labor, mechanical knowledge, and a passion for lawn care and landscaping. The Lawn Technician will work outdoors in various weather conditions, ensuring that properties are well-kept and visually appealing.

Duties

• Perform regular lawn care tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging to maintain healthy lawns.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to execute landscaping projects.
• Dig, plant, and maintain trees, shrubs, and flowers to enhance landscape aesthetics.
• Conduct snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access to properties.
• Build landscape features such as flower beds, retaining walls, or pathways as needed.
• Provide tree care services including pruning and removal when necessary.
• Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition through regular inspections and repairs.
• Follow safety protocols while operating machinery and handling materials.

Requirements

• Proven experience in lawn care or landscaping is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain various power tools and equipment.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions for extended periods.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor including lifting, digging, and standing for long durations.
• Familiarity with hand tools used in landscaping tasks.
• A valid driver's license may be required for transportation to job sites.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
