Job Title: Clinical Support Coordinator

Job Type: Full Time, 30-40 Hours per week 

Pay: $25.00 per hour 

Location: On Site, Northville, MI


Dashi Rivers, a division of Kennedy Care, is looking for a Clinical Support Coordinator to join our team. As the Clinical Support Coordinator, you play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of services to our Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) clients. This position is responsible for managing scheduling, attendance tracking, and reporting, ensuring that staff assignments and client needs are met.

Essential Functions:

Scheduling

  • Act as the main point of communication between R/BTs, clients, and the Clinical Director, ensuring all parties are informed about schedule changes, assessment updates, and clinical operations.
  • Create and maintain client schedules and clinician assignments, assign R/BTs to client cases, and manage staff schedules in the Central Reach system, ensuring efficient coverage and service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate schedules in Paylocity, ensuring proper alignment of hours worked and compliance with company policies.
  • Work with the clinical team to coordinate make-up sessions to maximize authorized hours.
  • Organize new hire training schedules, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new team members.
  • Effectively communicate with families and clinical staff to ensure a positive and seamless experience that aligns with established timeframes.
  • Maintain and organize client records, ensuring accuracy and facilitating secure recordkeeping and confidentiality in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Collaborate with the leadership, clinical, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure a comprehensive approach to client care. This may include educators, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and others.

Attendance Tracking

  • Track and monitor attendance for both clients and R/BTs and ensure accurate record-keeping.  
  • Assist with the supervision and ongoing staff training in scheduling, attendance, and timesheets, including clinical and support staff, to ensure they are competent and up-to-date with best practices.

Payroll Timesheets

  • Review and approve accurate timesheets for payroll processing, verifying hours worked.
  • To provide clear communication, guidance, and support to ensure high performance and adherence to company policies and procedures.

Client Support

  • Audit client profiles in Central Reach to ensure compliance.
  • Assist with the coordination of additional services including speech, occupational, and/or physical therapy.
  • Work in conjunction with BCBA and assigned trainer technicians for successful completion of the entire training program.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements:


  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Satisfactory completion of pre-employment requirements including, but not limited to, criminal background and reference checks. 
  • CPR Certification (Preferred but not Required)
  • Active BACB BCaBA, BCBA, or RBT certification within 90 days
  • QBS Certification (Preferred but not Required)
  • Previous ABA experience (Preferred but not Required)


Physical Requirements:


  • The role may require frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, and the ability to move quickly and easily to meet the needs of clients in various environments.
  • Occasional lifting (25 pounds) and physical assistance may be necessary, especially when providing support to clients with mobility challenges. The amount of lifting required can vary based on client needs and may include assisting with transfers or positioning.
  • Candidates should be prepared to work with individuals who may have sensory sensitivities or aversions, and the ability to understand and manage sensory issues is essential.
  • The job may involve assisting clients with fine motor skills such as handwriting, dressing, and other daily living activities, making good fine motor skills an asset.
  • The position can be physically, mentally, and emotionally demanding, requiring the ability to maintain a high level of energy and engagement, particularly when working with clients who exhibit challenging behaviors or complex needs.
