What are the responsibilities and job description for the ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT position at Dasmen Residential?
DASMEN Residential is seeking to hire a full-time Accounting Assistant. We are looking for a person, detailed oriented, organized and who's fast pace and able to multitask.
Duties and Responsibilities
Perform clerical duties as needed
Managing accounts payable using accounting software and other programs
Handling accounts payable for separate entities and vendors
Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors
Processing due invoices for payments
Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges
Processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling books of accounts
Assist with any and all accounting needs
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
1-2 years of accounts payable experience preferred
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel); scheduling appointments / updating calendars
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized multitasker who works well in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to learn and to grow with the company
