MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
- High school diploma or GED
- Able to use all hand tools, electrical crimping tools, and soldering tools.
- Must have minimum of two (2) years experience in the use of volt / ohm meters and other test
instruments.

ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
1. Aircraft electrical / avionics experience.
2. Degree in Engineering Electronics Technology or Electronics Technology.
3. FCC license.
4. Ability to solve practical problems when needed.
5. Able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
WORKING CONDITIONS :
Typical factory environment. May work in areas with high noise levels and limited climate control.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS) :
Identify functions affecting the airworthiness of the aircraft by using the prefix “CRITICAL”)
CRITICAL SKILLS
Interpret and follow complex wiring diagrams and schematics.
Route and shape wires for harness build up.
Utilize standard wire binding devices in harness fabrication and installation.
Perform pin-to-pin continuity / power checks on ac and dc systems using volt / ohm meters to
achieve fault isolation and repair.
Perform harness manufacturing, installation, and termination in accordance with specified data
and standards.
Solder electrical components in accordance with DFJC standards.
Install avionics ac and dc audio and video components and related systems in aircraft cabinets
and insures correct operation.
Wire aircraft water systems and insures proper operation.
ROUTINE SKILLS
1. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
2. Practice proper electronic maintenance protocols.
3. Complete tasks within assigned time limits.
4. Complete tasks under the direction and guidance of supervision as assigned.
5. Determine work to be accomplished to complete assignments within established schedules
and plans accordingly.
6. Accurately log computerized labor data collection for time and attendance tracking.
7. May assist, lead, or train other personnel on specific job assignments as directed by
supervision.
8. Works in a safe manner in accordance with OSHA and company safety procedures.
9. Performs troubleshooting, testing, and repairs of avionics systems and components.
10. Works warranty items, repair and return to service.
11. Performs all other duties as assigned.
