INTERNSHIP - Simulation Cloud Management

Role Descriptions & Responsibilities

As a Simulation Cloud Management intern, you contribute to delivering best-in-class simulation applications and technologies for simulating Product, Nature and Life in the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform and on the Cloud. You will have the opportunity to experience the full software development lifecycle, while remaining focused upon a certain aspect of this cycle to gain in-depth knowledge.

* Applying knowledge gained in computer science/Engineering courses to real-world problems.

* Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution to solve problems.

* Develop and deliver a React WebUX-based UI integrated with the 3DX platform.

* Incorporate AI-driven features into the UI, such as:

o Predictive recommendations for frequently used packages.

o Automated suggestions based on user interaction patterns and historical usage.

o Intelligent search functionality to quickly locate relevant packages or features.

o Integrate machine learning models to enhance package tracking, usage analytics, and user engagement.

o Collaborate with AI/ML teams to implement backend AI functionalities within the widget.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Developers, QA, and external stakeholders, to iteratively enhance functionality.

* Developing scripts to automate routine tasks.

* Designing the software system, describing the specifications in technical terms

* Coding, compiling and running unit tests according to Implement processes

* Keeping abreast of the latest technological developments, understanding the requirements of our development partners, knowing about competing products

Qualifications

* Actively engaged in a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or related disciplines

* Possesses hands- on experience with cloud infrastructure, AWS, Azure or others Possesses hand- on experience with AI/ML

* Demonstrates experience writing code fixes and tools to solve problems in one or more of the following languages: JavaScript, Java or Python (e.g., remove duplicate elements from a list).

* Possesses experience with linear coding and use language features when necessary (e.g., data structures, branching, function-calls, and conditionals).

This is a paid 6-month internship with a flexible start June/July in 2025. Your work schedule can be tailored to balance both your internship and your academic schedule. This position is based at the Dassault Systemes office located at 1301 Atwood Ave, Johnston, RI.

Compensation for this role will be commensurate with experience. The total expected compensation range will be between $22 and $40 per hour.
