THIS POSITION IS IN GOLDEN, COLORAD
This position requires ten (10) years of experience in Warehouse Distribution or Supply Chain Logistics Management. Experience shall include planning, initiating, managing, executing, and closing out program in support of an integrated supply chain distribution system. A minimum of the ten (10) years' experience supporting a large warehouse or a government warehouse. Must possess knowledge and skills required to plan, control, manage, and successfully complete the work. Responsible for resume review and recruiting, and other HR actions. Provides overall supervision for employees to include the following: planning and managing the contract professionally; ensuring that work is scheduled properly to obtain maximum use of resources; and ensuring that accurate and timely reports are provided. Requires Tier 1 Local Background Investigation BI.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Pass a Tier 1 Local Background Investigation BI.
- Planning, initiating, managing, executing and closing out programs in support of an integrated supply chain distribution system.
- Experience supporting a large warehouse or government warehouse.
- Must possess knowledge and skills required to plan, control, manage, and successfully complete the work.
- Responsible for resume review and recruiting, and other HR actions.
- Supervise employees in the planning and managing the contract professionally.
- Ensures work is scheduled properly to obtain maximum use of resources.
- Ensures accurate and timely reports are provided.
- Work requires pushing loaded carts of supplies.
- Communications (written and verbal) concerning warehouse inventories, processes and procedures to support the Logistics Divisions and their customers must be completed in English.
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years' experience in Warehouse Distribution or Supply Chain Logistics Management; minimum of ten (10) years' experience supporting a large warehouse or a government warehouse.
Computer Skills: Basic computer knowledge and skills, typing proficiency.
Certifications & Licenses: Trained, qualified, certified, and/or licensed as required prior to starting work; forklift
Other Requirements: Ability to operate pallet jacks, hand cart and forklifts as well as other government furnished warehouse equipment; Other additional duties as assigned by Management.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Constantly: standing, walking, manually manipulate, reach outward, reach above shoulder, grasp, speak; lift/carry up to 100 lbs., push/pull up to 100 lbs.
Frequently: sitting and bending
Occasionally: climb, crawl, squat or kneel.
Other Physical Requirements: ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - steel toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses/goggles, hearing protection.
