Job Description:
Data Testing, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Soils and Construction Materials Technician to join our team in Fort Smith, AR. This role involves conducting field and laboratory tests on soils, concrete, and asphalt to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform field and laboratory tests on soils, concrete, and asphalt.
- Collect and prepare samples for testing.
- Record and analyze test data accurately.
- Prepare detailed reports on test results.
- Ensure all testing equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional construction, drilling, or laboratory experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate company vehicle/machinery.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and on construction sites.
