Our hospital client is looking to hire a Manager of Clinical Informatics and Applications, for a full time role located in Glenwood Springs, CO. Compensation is DOE.
Some of your responsibilities include:
- Lead a team of IT professionals and staff in the pursuit of excellence in the delivery of electronic health records (EHR), measured not only by meeting functional requirements and achieving clinical operational objectives, promote software/product enhancements, user and staff training, and customer service.
- Assist with the migration from Meditech to Epic.
- Work with the Executive Director in developing short-term and long-term information technology strategic plans and drive and manage the Clinical Informatics initiative for the organization.
- Oversee the Clinical Informatics team which provides informatics services to the hospital.
- Act as a liaison between clinical staff and the IT department, meeting to support clinical IT systems and clinical practice. Develops a high level of coordination between the complex technology environment, the IT staff, and contracted application support teams.
