DataStaff, Inc. is seeking a SharePoint Programmer Analyst for a short-term contract opportunity with one of our direct clients in Richmond, VA.
*This position is short-term and onsite 3 days per week.
Responsibilities:
Implement SharePoint Solutions and Automation:
- Develop and implement SharePoint-based solutions which may be integrated via API to automate manual workflows.
- Replace existing PDF and paper-driven processes with efficient SharePoint and automation-driven workflows.
- Ensure that the solutions are scalable, maintainable, and secure.
SharePoint Environment Improvement:
- Analyze the current SharePoint environment and recommend improvements for better efficiency and user experience.
- Provide configuration recommendations for the hierarchical design of the SharePoint environment.
- Address any performance, security, or usability issues within the existing SharePoint environment.
- Integrate existing applications and systems into the SharePoint platform where applicable.
Intranet Migration Plan:
- Provide a detailed plan for migrating the company intranet to SharePoint, ensuring a smooth transition with minimal disruption.
- Include recommendations on design, content migration, and user access management.
- Work closely with the team to identify requirements and address any concerns related to the intranet migration.
- Collaborate with team members to design, develop, test, and deploy SharePoint solutions that meet business requirements.
- Create detailed documentation for SharePoint solutions, automation processes, and intranet migration strategies.
- Provide training and guidance to the team on SharePoint solutions and processes.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in SharePoint solution design and development, including lists, libraries, workflows, and web parts.
- Solid understanding of SharePoint permissions, user management, and governance.
- Strong knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery, with a focus on SharePoint customization including the use of APIs
- Knowledge of content management, document management, and enterprise search within SharePoint.
Desired Skills:
- Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Developer (or equivalent).
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate (Power Automate).
- Power Platform App Maker Associate.
