DataStaff, Inc. is currently seeking a Technical IT Project Manager for a long-term contract opportunity one of our direct clients in Indianapolis IN.
*This position may be worked remotely or as a hybrid schedule, 3 days per week onsite.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage high-complexity IT projects within the health department.
- Oversee the entire project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including solution architects, cloud architects, and DevOps engineers.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Manage project risks, issues, and changes to ensure successful project delivery.
- Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders and senior management.
- Coordinate with the helpdesk team to ensure smooth project implementation and support.
- Implement ITSM best practices and manage ITSM projects.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to monitor project performance.
- Ensure compliance with health department regulations and standards.
- Work in a pressured environment handling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Provide oversight for a team of approximately 12 individuals.
- Manage large budget-related projects.
- Work with internal and external partners and internal teams.
- Work very closely with the PMO office to ensure compliance with PMO guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and higher executive staff, providing regular status reports to all audiences.
- Strong background in project management, cloud environments, and health care projects, with a focus on delivering innovative IT solutions.
Required Skills:
- 10 Years - Strong IT project management experience
- 10 Years - Proven experience in managing high-complexity projects and delivering successful outcomes.
- 10 Years - Experience with dashboard tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar
- 10 Years - Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards
- Project management certificated (e.g., PMP)
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related fields with IT experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Desired Skills:
- 5 Years - Expertise in Azure, AWS, MuleSoft, DevOps, and IT Service Management (ITSM)
- 5 Years - Experience working with solution architects and cloud architects
- 5 Years - Strong understanding of infrastructure and operational projects
- 5 Years - Experience working in healthcare projects
- 5 Years - Experience with helpdesk systems and managing helpdesk teams
