As the Technical Support Representative, you will be responsible for updating and troubleshooting customer accounts with customers and with Datawatch technicians in the field. In this role, you’ll use critical thinking to respond to requests from customers and technicians via email and phone - ensuring the highest customer satisfaction.
Position is part-time, Monday - Friday in our Deale, MD office.

- Salary Range $19/hour
- Receive inbound calls from customers and other Datawatch departments.
- Troubleshoot supervisory alarms and attempt to resolve remotely.
- Generate service requests when issues are unable to be resolved remotely.
- Program customer access cards.
- Provide remote support to Datawatch technicians and sub-contractors.
- Assist with third party services including AlarmNet, NAPCO and Door King
- Two or more years of experience in customer service.
- Experience working with access control software and alarm monitoring software.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Display high proficiency in written and verbal communication.
- Confident and friendly phone presence.
- Ability to think critically and respond to customers with a sense of urgency.
- Work cooperatively in a team environment to resolve customer issues.
- Ability to get along with employees at every level of the organization.
