To keep pace with technological developments in the field and face up to its increasing challenges through constant innovation, Datawords is looking for a Content Manager- a German speaker. This role aims to provide practical experience to complement the academic knowledge acquired in the relevant educational program.
Role Overview: As part of the German Content Production Department, you will:
- Coordinate projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Collaborate closely with clients in German-speaking markets and multinational internal teams.
- Perform quality control on German content across various styles, terminologies, and formats.
- Create and manage editorial briefs and glossaries.
- Ensure content adheres to the client's desired style, tone, and brand image.
- Balance budgets, negotiate deadlines, and ensure project profitability.
- Recruit and train copywriters, translators, post-editors, and proofreaders.
Desired Profile:
- Education: Secondary and higher education in Germany or Austria with a Background in linguistics, project management, journalism, or translation.
- Languages: Native-level German, proficient in English and French.
- Skills:
- Strong writing and editing capabilities.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, multicultural work environment.
- Solid work ethic, team player, dedicated to completing challenging projects.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, adaptability, and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient with Office tools and keen interest in new technologies.
- Experience with Trados Studio is a plus.

Compensation: €750 per month (Study support)
