Dataworks Development, Inc. is looking for a sales Account Executive. Reporting to the Sales Manager, this position is responsible for all sales activities within defined geographical region. This includes managing the new sales process for new leads, ensuring engagement and customer success with existing clients, Customer Care Program renewals, and developing and growing existing business. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, eager to learn and a great communicator.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Sales Development:
- Lead Generation: Identify and target potential clients through outbound efforts such as cold calling, emailing, and social selling, primarily working with inbound leads and existing prospect lists.
- Prospecting: Develop a deep understanding of the company’s products and services to effectively identify and approach new prospects. Use various tools and research methods to uncover new business opportunities.
- Market Research: Conduct research to identify key decision-makers and target accounts within designated markets or industries.
- Lead Qualification: Qualify inbound leads and outbound prospects through phone calls, emails, and discovery calls to assess their needs and fit.
- Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline by nurturing leads, setting appointments, and ensuring continuous engagement with prospects.
- CRM Management: Track all activities, interactions, and progress within the CRM system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
Account Management:
- Client Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships with new and existing clients, by providing product information, addressing questions, and offering solutions that align with their goals.
- Sales Presentations: Prepare and conduct virtual or in-person customized product demonstrations, presenting the value and benefits in a clear, persuasive manner.
- Proposal Development: Prepare and deliver tailored proposals, quotes, and contract negotiations to close sales deals.
- Internal Collaboration: Work closely with sales managers, marketing, and support to ensure a seamless sales process and effective handoff after sale.
- Cross-Functional Support: Work with marketing, product, and customer success teams to refine messaging, align efforts, and ensure that prospects’ needs are effectively met.
Sales Reporting & Performance:
- Sales Metrics: Meet and exceed quarterly sales targets. Track personal performance against goals and report on sales activities.
- Continuous Improvement: Share insights with management regarding market trends, client feedback, and competitor activities. Continuously seek opportunities for self-improvement and sales skill development.
- Sales Forecasting: Provide timely updates and sales forecasts to management regarding the status of prospects, leads, and sales opportunities in the pipeline.
Qualifications:
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multi task
- Self-motivated and independent
- Experience in life-science industry a plus
- Experience with database software a plus
- Salesforce CRM experience a plus
- Laboratory knowledge a plus

Pay is BASE COMMISSION

Salary: $90,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
