Average Day on the Job:
Responsible for modifications, enhancements, and customization to the Credit Union’s operating system. Works closely with end users to review and monitor application capabilities and department needs. Performs a variety of complex programming tasks. Assists programming and operating staff as needed. Coordinates with management to establish and implement programming goals and objectives. Duties, responsibilities and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice. This position has the potential for remote work based on management discretion.

Qualifications
Education/Certification:
College degree in computer science or related field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Required Knowledge:
Thorough understanding of programming and information systems.
Thorough knowledge of business software applications.
Experience Required:
At least 5 years of related experience, preferably in a financial environment.
Technical Skills:
At least five years of related development experience.
Ability to create quality code that needs minimal user testing.
VB/C/Java/Javascript/SQL Programming knowledge.
C# .net/Angular/CSS preferred.
GIT experience preferred.
Symitar experience preferred, but not required.
AIX operation system (or equivalent) knowledge preferred.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Well organized
Solid project management abilities
Good communication skills
Ability to assist and train others
Able to use PC, terminal keyboards, and various computer hardware
