Job Description:
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master and/or Business Analyst in an IT environment.
- Proficient in using agile project management tools like Agility or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of Agile principles and frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable technical deliverables.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Familiarity with airline operations or travel industry IT systems is a plus.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
Facilitating Scrum Events:
- Lead and facilitate Scrum events including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Story Grooming, Sprint Demos, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospectives.
- Ensure these events are productive and focused on achieving team goals.
Removing Impediments:
- Identify and address obstacles that hinder the team's progress.
- Act as a liaison between the Scrum team and external stakeholders to resolve issues, manage initiative kickoffs, and facilitate feedback loops.
Coaching and Mentoring:
- Coach the Scrum team and the wider organization on Scrum principles and practices.
- Help the team adopt Agile methodologies and best practices.
Promoting Self-Organization:
- Empower the team to self-organize and make decisions about their work.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
Ensuring Adherence to Scrum Framework:
- Continuously evaluate team workflows and processes, identifying areas for improvement.
- Experiment with new approaches and practices to drive team performance.
Serving as a Liaison:
- Act as a bridge between the Scrum team, product owners, and management.
- Communicate the team's progress, challenges, and needs effectively to stakeholders.
