Duties and Responsibilities
Parco is looking for talented and driven candidates to support the implementation of world-class manufacturing techniques and to develop the ability to make new products. The tooling supervisor oversees all tooling activities including mold design, mold making, insert making, and mold repair. The tooling supervisor may also design, build and repair molds and equipment. The Tooling Supervisor performs these activities.
- Operates all tooling department equipment;
- Designs and builds Parco molds - reviews mold design prior to cutting;
- Repairs Parco molds - prioritizes the repair backlog;
- Troubleshoots molding problems;
- Inspects machined inserts - prioritizes the insert cutting backlog;
- Maintains tooling equipment;
- Follows and enforces safety rules;
- Supports production operations through the timely completion of the above activities.
- Trains, counsels, and disciplines employees as necessary.
