The Daughters of the American Revolution, a non-profit membership organization, has a full-time opportunity for a Network Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and administering computer networks and related computing environments, and performing disaster recovery operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for an IT professional that is detail oriented, has strong communication and project management skills, and is looking to expand their job knowledge in a non-profit environment.
This individual will be required to be on-site at least three days in a work week.
Primary Responsibilities Include :
- Monitoring and managing network infrastructure to ensure security, availability, recoverability, and performance.
- Resolving hardware and connectivity problems as they arise.
- Performing routine software upgrades on network infrastructure.
- Maintaining LAN, VLAN, and LWAN configurations.
- Maintaining and troubleshooting VPN connections and remote desktop services.
- Ensuring network perimeter security with firewalls and reconfigures as needed.
- Installing and upgrading Windows Hyper-V Hosts, Windows servers, and Microsoft Exchange Hybrid environment as well as all in-house client software.
- Maintaining and supporting storage area network servers.
- Ensures network access security through Microsoft's Active Directory.
- Working with vendors when needed to resolve hardware / software issues.
- Responding to alerts overnight and on weekends.
