Responsibilities and Qualifications:
Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth and expansion in the Western United States. Oversee daily sales operations, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations. Manage the performance of a team of seven direct sales representatives. Work closely with sales representatives, offering technical expertise and best practices to enhance sales performance and customer satisfaction. Gather and analyze market feedback to refine sales strategies and identify opportunities for growth. Monitor key metrics, including customer acquisition, sales growth, and product segment performance. Cross-functional collaboration with sales management and other departments to align strategies and ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives. Five years of sales and/or sales management experience in the sheet metal fabrication or related metalworking industries. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and leading successful sales teams. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to travel regionally as necessary (50% or more). Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software; familiarity with CAD or programming software is a plus. Total Compensation: $75,000 - $165,000/year (includes base salary plus commissions and bonuses). Comprehensive sales and product training program.
