Job Summary:
This entry-level IT Specialist position offers a dynamic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in providing technical support for software, hardware, and mobile devices. You’ll be responsible for user account management, troubleshooting, training, and assisting with IT projects, all while maintaining system documentation. With room for growth and exposure to a wide range of IT functions, this role is perfect for someone looking to kickstart their career in technology.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for software, computer systems, desk phones, and mobile devices.
- Offer hardware and software end-user support, responding promptly to user issues.
- Conduct user training during New Hire Orientation and for ongoing needs.
- Document all requests and projects in the Help Desk system.
- Manage user account maintenance, including email setup, licensing, and offboarding.
- Assist with building security, employee access setup, and liaise with security provider.
- Support the Viewpoint operating system, including training, troubleshooting, and documentation.
Licensing and Experience:
- Valid Driver’s License
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Associate degree in Information Systems or 2 years of relevant experience in the field.
- 1 years of experience in technical support; A , Network , and Security certifications are a plus but not required.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 7:30am-4:30pm
- In Office position
