Salary Range: $52,000 - $104,000/yr.

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our team as an Inside Sales Representative. This dual-role position requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a passion for client engagement. The ideal candidate will leverage their engineering background to support sales efforts, provide technical guidance, and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Sales Support:
    • Collaborate with customers to understand their technical needs and propose appropriate solutions.
    • Develop and present proposals, quotations, and technical presentations to clients.
    • Assist the sales team with technical information and product recommendations.
  • Engineering Support:
    • Interpret customer requirements and specifications to provide accurate product and application advice.
    • Work with the engineering team to create custom solutions or modifications as needed.
    • Assist in resolving technical challenges during the pre-sales and post-sales phases.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
    • Respond to inquiries, follow up on quotes, and track project progress.
    • Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive communication and support.
  • Administrative Tasks:
    • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and project details in the CRM system.
    • Generate sales and performance reports for management review.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience in engineering, sales, or a combination of both (minimum 2-3 years preferred).
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, design principles, and industry standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
