The Law Office of David A. Baker, P.A. seeks an entry level receptionist/secretary to work full-time for a 4-6 person staff. Position offers opportunity for future growth and position advancement. Legal experience/knowledge desired but not required. Ideal candidate needs to be a dependable team player who is friendly, organized, detail oriented, punctual, has the ability to work well under stress and possesses a willingness to learn.
The pay for this position is commensurate with ability and experience. The position also comes with paid holidays and paid time off.
Duties include, but may not be limited to:
· Front desk greeting of clients;
· Answering incoming calls and redirecting as necessary;
· Scanning and maintaining electronic files;
· Organizing and maintaining of paper correspondence and court files;
· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook and Google Calendar;
· Scheduling and calendaring appointments and deadlines;
· Drafting Letters;
· Meeting and interacting with clients; and
· Additional duties/responsibilities as needed
Position Requirements:
· Reliable transportation;
· Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing;
· Ability to maintain confidentiality of clients and all Firm related matters;
· Familiar with basic office equipment, i.e. copier, scanner, postage meter, facsimile, etc.;
· Must be detail oriented with superior organization skills;
· Strong moral character (no felony or misdemeanor criminal record or history of criminal activity involving: theft, fraud, forgery, deceit, etc.)
