Learning Opportunity:
Learn about production and metadata in and for the music industry the planning, processes and entry of data and assets for the Integrity and Label Services catalogs. Strengthen your portfolio with real world projects, that directly impact the cataloging and reporting for releases.
Internship Description:
- Assist with data entry and learn how to add appropriate metadata to catalog.
- Participate in the review of metadata to ensure accuracy and make corrections where necessary.
- Participate in adding assets to catalog (i.e., audio, STEMS, artwork, etc.).
- Collaborate with Ops and Technology team on other projects as assigned.
- Perform other internship-related learning opportunities as assigned.
Qualifications
Internship Requirements:
Formal Education: Completed the first 2 years of college in Music Business or Business degree program.
Experience: Excellent knowledge of Excel. Experience of databases and music metadata.
Specialized Knowledge/Certification: Energy, with a desire to input ideas and activity towards building a strong music database. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to contribute individually and participate in cross functional team.
Equipment Knowledge: Excel and Microsoft Programs
Internship Working Conditions:
- Comfortable working conditions, handling light weight, intermittent sitting, standing and walking.
- Working environment – cubicle office and co-working spaces with some noise
- Detail-oriented work requiring mental acuity and accuracy
- Normal business hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) are typical but must have a willingness and flexibility to work during evenings and weekends if/when necessary.
