Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Martial Arts Instructor to join our team. As a Martial Arts Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching and guiding students in the art of martial arts, promoting physical fitness, discipline, and self-defense skills. If you have a background in martial arts and enjoy working with students of all ages (3yrs & up), we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver martial arts lessons to students of various skill levels and age groups
- Teach proper techniques, forms, and movements in different martial arts styles
- Demonstrate and explain martial arts principles, values, and philosophies
- Provide individualized instruction and feedback to students to help them improve their skills
- Ensure the safety of all students during training sessions
- Monitor student progress and track their achievements
- Organize and supervise martial arts events, competitions, or demonstrations
- Maintain a clean and organized training area
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in martial arts (black belt or equivalent rank preferred)
- Strong knowledge of different martial arts styles and techniques
- Previous experience working with students in a teaching or coaching role (e.g., physical education instructor, sports coach)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire students to reach their full potential
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques for working with children and young adults
- CPR and first aid certification (preferred)
