SUMMARY OF POSITION
Reporting to the Managing Director, Head of Integrated Production and working alongside our integrated production team, we are looking for a multi-disciplinary designer to execute digital and social media projects. including motion graphics and live-action videos, web sites, banner advertising, email campaigns, and other interactive executions.
\n- To execute the design aspect of client projects ranging from web sites, mobile, social media campaigns, advanced paid media units, HTML and rich email messages, as well as internal department and Agency building exercises.
- Collaborate with the people who bring our work to life; This position works in partnership with Digital Producers, Developers, Art Directors, and Copywriters to create award-winning digital executions.
- Able to follow (and improve upon) our internal processes for creating, documenting, and maintaining digital-best practices.
- Practical understanding of:
- Web technology, usability, and information architecture.
- Video production techniques.
- Common banner ad and email creative formats.
- Experience working as a production-oriented designer in a fast-paced environment.
- Skilled in static design using Photoshop/InDesign/Illustrator and motion design using After Effects. Video editing would be a plus.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills. Ability to handle a variety of tasks and projects concurrently.
- An understanding of the requirements and specifications of a project and attention to detail. Ensure all working files are optimized for easy handoff between Art Directors and Developers.
- Ability to plus-up creative ideas through the production process and add a high level of creativity and design flare.
- Follow social media and advertising trends. Use this knowledge to maintain digital/social design best practice guidelines.
- Consult on in-house capabilities, advising producers and creative teams on what can be done. Providing solutions to complex design assignments.
- Collaborate with Managing Director, Head of Integrated Production on documentation of capabilities and examples of past work as needed.
- Continue to evolve with software updates, introducing new tips, tricks, or ideas to the team regarding all static, social, and motion-graphic projects.
- Graphic design degree (BFA, MFA, other) or similar qualifications.
- 4 years of related work experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience are required.
- Samples of previous work that demonstrate strategic, intelligent creative executions for brand and retail clients.
- Advanced skillset using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro). Experience in 3D/CGI is a huge plus.

The base salary range is $75k - $90k plus benefits.
