The company is a leading manufacturers’ representative of plumbing, heating, waterworks and commercial drain products with sales representation throughout New England, Maine, New Hampshire, New York and the Mid-Atlantic states. We're looking for an enthusiastic Customer Service/Order Entry Specialist to join our team and work in-office in our headquarters in Brockton, MA.
This is an on-site Zurn Order Entry/Inside Sales position. It is full-time, forty-hours-per-week. Remote work is not available for this position.
Knowledge of Oracle and Microsoft Dynamics 365 software, preferred.
Zurn product knowledge is a plus.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Accurately enter customer orders into the order management system.
- Verify order details, including pricing, product availability, and shipping information.
- Communicate with customers to confirm order details and resolve any discrepancies.
- Process order cancellations, returns, and exchanges in accordance with company policies.
- Work closely with other departments (e.g., inventory, shipping, and customer service) to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Monitor and update order status, providing customers with tracking information as needed.
- Maintain a high level of data accuracy and completeness in the order entry system.
- Provide support to the sales team by ensuring all order-related documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Maintain relationships with existing clients through regular follow-ups and support.
- Address any post-sale issues, including returns, exchanges, and product/service concerns.
- Answer customer inquiries about products, services, pricing, and availability.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred.
- Proven experience in order entry, customer service or a related administrative role.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with order entry software.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

They should also be comfortable working with different personalities and temperaments, demonstrating adaptability and strong interpersonal skills. They must be able to work with others in a team environment.
