This position is for someone who has excellent communication skills, is self-directed and motivated to succeed. Qualified applicants should have some industry experience but we will provide training and licensing for the right candidate should you not already have this qualification.
Our established, fast-paced local insurance agency is looking for a full-time customer service representative to work with existing clients and new potential clients. This position is an in-office position. Insurance knowledge and current industry experience, and/or an active Minnesota Property & Casualty license, is a plus.
We are looking for someone who is ethical, dependable, flexible, and detail oriented as well as self-directed and motivated. The successful candidate should have a strong work ethic and superior customer service skills. The ability to multitask while maintaining composure will ensure fitting in well with our seasoned team.

Responsibilities:
- Answer phones and filing.
- Direct office traffic
- Work with existing clients to process claims & make updates and additions to their policies.
- Provide quotes from multiple companies for new prospective clients and existing clients, if needed.
- Provide administrative support to insurance agents.
- Social Media Marketing
- Obtain their property/casualty insurance license within 90 days.
Qualifications:
- Some secondary education preferred but experience in lieu of formal education will be considered.
- Basic Social Media Skills with Facebook, Linked-In, Instagram, etc.
- Proficient with computers, including Microsoft Word.
- High level of comfort communicating and interacting with clients.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Persistence, drive and ability to work independently.
- Action orientated and a team player.
