The Business Development and Growth Manager will lead strategic growth initiatives for the organization. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships, cultivating key partnerships, and driving revenue growth and market expansion. Must demonstrate leadership and excellence in customer service and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, proven track record in B2B sales, the ability to develop strategic partnerships, and a strong ability to navigate complex markets and foster long-term success.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Develop and execute comprehensive growth strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Lead market research efforts to identify trends, client needs, and opportunities for improvement.
- Cultivate and manage strategic partnerships to enhance market presence and drive revenue growth.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.
- Visit current facilities, maintain current accounts, and provide excellent customer service.
- Collaborate with internal teams and leadership to ensure client satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.
- Maintain strategic alliances outside the organization to create business opportunities and execute business strategies.
- Maintain confidentiality of client, employee and proprietary business information. Understand and follow all company policies and practices regarding HIPAA.
- Perform other duties as requested by leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing or equivalent education and experience.
- 8 years of progressive experience in marketing, business development, or related leadership roles.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and market expansion.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
- An entrepreneurial mindset, who can thrive in a startup environment and embrace change.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to multi-task, interpreting on-going problems and suggesting possible solutions.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Possession of a valid state Driver’s License.
- Must pass background check, drug screen and motor vehicle record (MVR).
- Travel required, 60-75%.
