What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Assistant position at David S. Cutler CPA PC?
Established CPA firm is looking for a highly motivated person to be the assistant to one of our tax managers. Previous experience in an accounting firm is preferred, as is a desire to learn about the accounting field and grow along with our company.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Tax Manager with scanning, copies, printing, etc.
- Assist Tax Manager with filing, errands, and general admin support
- Assist with assembling and filing tax returns
- Assist with data entry and client info requests
- Ensure accurate filing, labeling, and organization
- Converting documents into paper files as well as digital files
- Communication with clients through email and telephone
Requirements:
- Must be highly responsive to emails, calls, and requests
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to maintain priorities, deliverables, and deadlines
- Work with efficiency and under pressure
- Work flexible shifts including some weekends (during deadlines)
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Train on and adapt to different processes and methods
- Ability to take feedback and ask intelligent questions
- Excellent written and spoken English
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.35 - $20.00 per hour
