A Health Service Administrator is a supportive force behind both, and we are currently seeking someone exceptional to take the helm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the Office of Health Services. The Health Service Coordinator works under the direction of the Medical Director and will support the Medication Technicians, Medical Case Managers, and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication. The candidate should also have experience working in an office environment, performing administrative tasks, and providing support to coworkers. An ability to multitask, manage complex schedules, and meet changing deadlines is essential to the position.

Responsibilities:
- Under the direction of the Medical Director, Director of Integrated Health and CEO, provide support of patient
care
- Ensures initial and follow-up medical appointments are scheduled to include:
- Primary Care;
- Specialist;
- Dental; and
- Vision.
- Serves as liaison between internal and external medical and behavioral health
providers
- Ensures all patients/clients have current physician orders
- Collaborate with program staff to ensure medical appointments are attended as
scheduled.
- Ensure program compliance with all applicable state, federal, and local laws, and
regulations.
- Attend staff meetings when scheduled.
- Participate in 40 hours per year of annual training.
- Prioritize regular communication about the client’s needs with all relevant parties
including Housing Director, Nurse Manager, Medical Case Managers, Medication
Technicians, Medical Director, Prescribing Practitioner, and external service
providers, etc.
- Represent the organization professionally when engaging with the greater
community.
- Coordinate transportation for medical appointments.
- Collect and maintain data in EHR.
- Organize and maintain to ensure compliance for medicine storage cabinets for
community housing and residential program.
- Must have the ability to be on-call as needed to ensure the needs of clients are met, this includes weekends and holidays.
- Provide transportation to clients who require escort to hospitals, dentists appointments, check ups, and speciality appointments to ensure client advocacy is being delivered.
- Ability to develop, maintain, and implement department processes to ensure smooth operational integrity of the Department of Health Services.
- Other duties as assigned within scope of role to drive DLCP mission, vision and values.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Certification as a Medical Technician (required)
- LPN or LVN designation valid within the State of Maryland (Required)
- Substance Abuse/Mental Health: 1 year (required)
- Certified Peer Recovery Specialist certification (required or obtained within 90 days of employment)
- Proven admin or assistant experience
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Proficiency in MS Office.

Physical Capacity:
Must be able to sit and stand for 20 minutes and lift at least 10 lbs.

Salary : $58,000 - $68,000
